It’s a question every parent asks each other when determining which community is going to best suit their family. For many of the families living in SE Calgary, they find that the area is extremely well served by a number of highly regarded educational institutions.

There are several neighbourhoods that comprise SE Calgary and almost each one of them has its own school servicing that community. For public schools, the Calgary Board of Education is responsible for leading your child’s learning:

For families who have roots in religion, they’ll find value in the number of Christian schools that are currently servicing SE Calgary communities. Unlike many of the Calgary Board of Education Schools, many of the separate schools in these neighbourhoods cater to kids from Kindergarten all the way through to Grade 9:

Whether they’re more inclined towards applied learning or are partial towards academia, there’s a school suited for them:
The University of Calgary is Calgary’s largest post-secondary institution and offers degree-granting programs in a wide range of disciplines.
Mount Royal University is one of Calgary’s longest standing post-secondary institutions and remains highly regarded by employers across the region.
SAIT Polytechnic differs from universities and colleges because it strives to provide students with an applied education that will help them easily transfer the skills acquired there from the classroom to the workplace.
Like SAIT, Bow Valley College intends to give students the skills they need to meet success in the workplace.
Ambrose University is a Christian inspired post-secondary institution where faith meets higher education.
